Services Provided

Bookaao.com is an online marketplace for renting, selling, and purchasing books. We also provide value-added services like book delivery, pick-up, and LIPODS library bookings.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.

Account & Responsibilities

Fraudulent Activity, Dispute & Refund Hold Policy Bookaao reserves the right to temporarily delay, hold, investigate, or suspend any refund, payout, order settlement, or transaction if suspicious, abusive, misleading, fraudulent, or policy-violating activity is detected from either buyer or seller side. In cases involving false claims, misuse of return/refund systems, fake complaints, delivery disputes, harassment, spam reporting, manipulation attempts, courier misuse, or any activity causing operational or financial loss to Bookaao, the platform may: • Delay refund processing until verification is completed • Deduct applicable Bookaao platform, logistics, operational, investigation, payment gateway, or dispute handling charges • Temporarily restrict or suspend account features • Permanently suspend accounts involved in repeated violations • Share required transaction details with courier partners, legal authorities, consumer grievance platforms, or law enforcement agencies when legally necessary Refunds are processed only after successful verification based on available evidence including shipment tracking, call records, chat history, delivery proof, courier scans, and platform activity logs. Bookaao reserves the sole right to determine the outcome of disputes, charge deductions, account actions, and refund eligibility to protect the integrity and safety of the platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

Payments

All payments are processed through secure payment gateways, including PayU. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Rentals & Returns

Rental books must be returned in good condition by the due date. Late returns may result in penalties or restriction of services.

Prohibited Use

Misuse of the platform, fraudulent transactions, or abuse of offers will lead to account termination.

Liability

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
